You will also receive information from our affiliates in 18 other cities throughpout the U.S. and Canada. You may also contribute information to the network, even though you are not a dispatcher (see attached for details). This is a low-cost system established for fire buffs, firefighters (active and retired) and persons who either shoot pictures or gather information for the many fire publications. News Media and Commercial accounts may be established at a slightly higher rate. FirePage is only a service which provides the fire information. An AirTouch Paging representative will contact you to open a paging account. Your AirTouch pager will have the FirePage group when you receive it. The price you pay for the pager will be determined by the number of members we have. The more members, the lower the cost! You may also take advantage of many additional AirTouch Paging services. Fill out the application and return it along with the signed Rules & Regulations page, and a check which totals the first year of service for FirePage only (AirTouch Paging will bill you separately). You will be billed each year afterwards, by FirePage. 2. When the AirTouch Paging Paging representative contacts you, open an account and receive your pager with FirePage already on it. If one does not contact you within 10 days, call us and we will try to expedite matters. 3. AirTouch Paging provides all paging equipment which receives FirePage and has it's own rules & regulations. FirePage is not affiliated with AirTouch Paging in any way, shape or form. 1. Please do NOT have business cards, badges or any other materials developed with the FirePage name on them. b. Do NOT respond to incidents unless you have a purpose there, such as photography or gathering of information for fire publications. c. Under no circumstances utilize the information obtained from FirePage to : - Interfere with Public Safety personnel. - Commit crimes - Cross police or fire lines, unless authorized 2. Remember that this service is primarily for Fire Buffs, firefighters and people with related interests. All FirePage personnel, monitors & dispatchers are volunteers and can not be held responsible for, nor do we guarantee, the accuracy of the information broadcasted. Although we will certainly do our best. 3. FirePage can not guarantee the reporting of ALL major incidents. I hereby give FirePage authorization to discontinue my AirTouch paging service in the event that I do not pay my dues or cease dispatching (if a dispatcher's pager). AirTouch Paging will then deliver a non-FirePage pager to me for my personal paging. Attorney's Fees: The prevailing party shall be entitled to costs and attorney's fees in any action or proceedings arising out of this agreement and/or in any action or proceeding to enforce a judgement based on a cause of action arising out of this agreement. Entire Agreement: This agreement supersedes all agreements previously made between the parties relating to its subject matter. There are no other understandings or agreements between them. Violation of the above rules & regulations will result in the immediate termination from the FirePage service. Please comply with the above information and this can be fun for everyone! When reporting an incident, remember, others like you are receiving the information so be accurate and concise. Make sure you have: NAME OF AGENCY responding to the incident. TYPE OF INCIDENT (see list below) LOCATION OF INCIDENT with cross streets and Thomas Bros. map page, if available. FREQUENCY they are working on, if you heard it on the radio. ADDT'L INFORMATION OF INTEREST: number of injuries; amount of equipment at scene; structures involved; acres burned;etc. YOUR NAME, TELEPHONE NUMBER & FirePage NUMBER. PLEASE UPDATE ANY INCIDENT IF IT CHANGES! You are contributing to the betterment of the system. III.
